Film is nostalgic to me. There is this indescribable feeling I get when holding a photograph that has been developed by hand. I suppose I just appreciate things made the old fashioned way. I prefer vintage as opposed to made in China. I really agree with the adage “they don’t make things the way they used to”. Sometimes, digital pictures look too fake to me. Film is real. The dust, the grain, the look, the genuine authenticity. I love technology, but I won’t let vintage photography go. I choose quality over quantity.
So if you are bold, brave, and adventurous, set out with me and my American made antique camera.
If this sounds like you, schedule a consultation so I can learn more about you and your photography needs. There is no cost or obligation associated with the consultation. I’d just like to meet you, discuss your vision for the portrait session, and go over how we can best display photographs from your session.
Once we’ve met and you are super excited to create vintage black and white artwork together, booking your portrait session is simple. A signed contract and a $50 non-refundable deposit is all it takes to schedule your session date. Contact me today to set up a consultation.
After you portrait session, I develop the film at home in my own darkroom. I will bring your images to your home for a grand unveiling and presentation. Once you’ve seen and love your images it is time to decide how you would like to enjoy your photographs forever. This is when we will decide which photographs you want printed and place your order. There is no obligation or minimum purchase requirement. Photograph collections include options such as 7x7 square fine art matte photographs, custom framed photographs, and high resolution digital scans of negatives. You can expect to be showing off your photographs 2-4 weeks after your order has been placed.
My goal is to create unique vintage artwork for your home and family with photographs made the old fashioned way, that you will cherish for generations to come. Inquire today about planning the perfect vintage film session for you.
