My parents created a photo album for each of their kids. I remember peeling the see through plastic from the sticky page behind it so I could place a small photograph on the page, then carefully laying the plastic over the whole page and the newly added photograph hopefully without any air bubbles. I never once thought I just caused permanent damage to that photo! I do remember thinking the opposite though. I thought I was permanently protecting that photograph. Sadly the chemicals used in the “sticky” substance will break down the photograph over time. The color will decay rapidly opposed to without it. And if you ever wat to remove that photograph, well…it won’t ever be in the same condition it once was putting it mildly. However, these photo albums have the greatest collection of family images, simply because someone had organized and curated the many photographs available and only the best made it in the album.
That is why albums are by far the greatest way to preserve a collection of family photographs. Not only are our albums a curated selection of photographs, they are styled neat and clean, so that they will be timeless. Images are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper creased for a full panoramic view, yielding a seamless transition from page to page. With over 50 different cover options ranging from fine linens and silks, Italian leathers, or laminated photo covers, you won’t have a problem finding the cover that matches your own personal style. Our albums are bound by hand and guaranteed for life against any manufacturing defects.
Other customization options include cover debossing and cameo. Debossing really complements an album cover by adding text as an indentation in the cover. We really like debossing names of newlyweds in wedding albums, surnames for family albums, and individual names for senior albums. Cameos are a great way to put turn the cover into a framed photograph. Selecting the right photo and matching color tones with your chosen fabric really enhances the cover.
